The great fire….

Apologies for the lack of posts over the past few weeks.   I have been chastised by a journalist who said to me “imagine if they only published the Irish Times whenever they felt like it” so I have humbly retreated back to the keyboard. In our defence,  as most of you know, we have had a lot going on here, not least of which was our house

Teamwoodcraft’s Olympic Dream Continues

Sorrell and FinnIt has been an amazing couple of weeks for Teamwoodcraft as firstly Dressage Ireland were so delighted with our sponsorship of Sorrell they featured us on their news which was excellent.  Within a few days Teamwoodcraft was in the main news on the European Dressage website which was an absolutely amazing coup.  All the Olympic riders, trainers, owners, fans watch avidly follow the site so it has been a great few weeks PR wise for us.

Prep for Winter Finals in Cavan and plans for the season!

Qlympic Dressage - Sorrell and FinnEver since our return from training in the UK all the horses have been on flying form! Which is so exciting when the biggest Irish show of the season so far is just around the corner!

We have continued to work through all the grand Prix work- despite my boots breaking- and being tied up with “Gaffa” tape! They will have to last till our Germany trip in May as in Ireland they are far too expensive to purchase!

Teamwoodcraft’s Olympic Dream

Sorrell and FinnOn the 8th of March 2011 Teamwoodcraft decided to go where they had never gone before (as we often do here!).  We are so excited and delighted to announce our partnership with one of Dressage’s most talented riders Sorrell Klatkzo.  Sorrell and I have both nourished the dream of getting a horse to the Olympics and as Olympics 2012 is so near us, being based in London, we decided to grab the bull by the horns and go for it. (This will come to no surprise to our friends and acquaintances as everyone who knows us realizes how ambitious and determined Sorrell and I are). Sorrell’s contender for the Olympics is dressage star Finn (who knows how gorgeous he is by the way).  What a challenge but a great opportunity for both Sorrell and Teamwoodcraft if we can pull it off! Can 2 outsiders with a massive dream get to the Olympics?
