“Old is Beautiful (but not if it’s neglected!)”

 This is one of my favourite quotes by Aldo Lorenzi, the author of “That Shop in Via That shop in Via MontenapoleoneMontenapoleone”.  The Lorenzis are cutlers in Milano and are a source of fascination and admiration for me because like Teamwoodcraft, they manufacture objects according to their clients’ personal needs. Starting from the clients request, and again like TWC, are driven by a great wish to satisfy it, in 1929 the Lorenzis set up their own working system: to give the customer the article required, built in the best possible way. For all manufacturers, this system is much more difficult than producing a mere (same) product line because it means constant research and development in the chosen field.
